I have twelve years experience working with children and families providing education and treatment planning for adoptive and foster homes as well as guidance and mentoring for at risk youth. I conducted trainings for professionals and foster and adoptive parents. Since I am also a parent, I am empathetic to parents in stressful, difficult situations. I remain neutral while assisting parents construct their parenting plan, because I am mindful of the child's point of view and how they will adjust to their new family structure. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Psychology and am a trained Family Mediator.
