Steve Rowoldt - Bio

Steve Rowoldt was appointed Deputy Probation Administrator for Field Services in September 2009. As of June 1, 2011, Mr. Rowoldt assumed the combined role of Deputy Probation Administrator for Field Services and Operations due to the retirement of David Wegner. As Deputy Administrator for Field Services, Mr. Rowoldt is responsible for the development and supervision of Probation Administration’s policies and procedures.

Mr. Rowoldt is also now responsible for overseeing Probation’s case management system which is the Nebraska Probation Application Community Safety (NPACS). He will also administer the distribution of state-owned equipment for the Nebraska Probation System.

Mr. Rowoldt has worked for the Nebraska Probation System since 1974 beginning his career as a probation officer in Falls City and continuing in Beatrice and Lincoln. He served as Chief Probation Officer in Lincoln from 1989 to 2009
