The Lancaster County Court is currently accepting applications for two full-time Assistant Clerk IIs. These are highly responsible clerical and supervisory positions assisting the judges and judicial administrator involving a variety of duties including assigning and supervising the work or others within a division of the county court with data entry and processing case filings. Qualifications include knowledge of laws, procedures, policies and operations of the court, computer data entry knowledge, ability to implement decisions effectively, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with personnel at all levels, ability to communicate both orally and in writing and/or experience sufficient to enable the individual to perform the duties and meet the knowledge, skills and abilities required. College education may be substituted for employment experience on a year-for-year basis. Successful completion of “on the job training” in JUSTICE (the statewide court computer system) is also required. The ability to speak Spanish is desired but not required. Beginning salary is $14.71 hourly. All applications must be received on or before 01-31-2013.
