LINCOLN – Michael T. Brogan, Patrick P. Carney, and Mark A. Johnson, all of Norfolk; and Daniel P. Bracht, West Point, have submitted applications for appointment as District Judge in the 7th Judicial District consisting of Antelope, Cuming, Knox, Madison, Pierce, Stanton, and Wayne counties. The primary place of office for the judicial vacancy will be either Madison, Madison County, Nebraska, or Wayne, Wayne County, Nebraska. The vacancy is due to the retirement of the Honorable Robert B. Ensz.
The public hearing of the Judicial Nominating Commission will be held in District Courtroom No. 4, Madison County Courthouse, 1313 N. Main St., Madison, Nebraska, beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013. The Commission will review all applicants for the office at that time. The public is welcome to attend the hearing and present information concerning candidates for the judicial opening.
