My journey in the mediation process began in May 2004 when I completed Basic Mediation Training. In September 2005 I completed Family Mediation Training. My apprentinceship hours for Basic Mediation were completed in January 2007. My apprentinceship hours for Family Mediation were completed in September of 2007. In March 2009 I completed the Specialized Alternative Dispute Resolution (SADR) Training. I have mediated cases in Lancaster County Small Claims Court, with the Employment First program, and a variety of family cases. I participate as a coach for basic and family mediation training sessions offered through the Nebraska Mediation Center Association. I have also participated as a coach for UNL law students studying the basic mediation skills.
