The Supreme Court Public Information Officer (PIO) provides communications, public affairs, and media relations for the Nebraska Judicial Branch. The office answers media and general public inquiries about the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and trial courts across the state.
The Public Information Officer also coordinates the judiciary's public outreach and education programs, and assists with legislative efforts.
The Nebraska Judicial Branch has formed a partnership with the Nebraska Bar Foundation to provide coordinated resources for public education and outreach. The Public Education Outreach Promoting the Law & Equity (PEOPLE) committee is comprised of both judges and lawyers to provide resources to:
