Four weeks but not consecutive weeks, or until the Judge dismisses the panel.

Do you have forms to complete to file for divorce?

No, we do not.

Who is our District Judge?

Four District Judges serve the eleven-county Fifth Judicial District.

The Honorable Mary Gilbride is assigned to Butler County, Colfax County and Saunders County.

The Honorable Alan G. Gless is assigned to Seward County and York County.

The Honorable Michael Owens is assigned to Hamilton County, Merrick County, Polk County, Nance County, and Boone County.

The Honorable Robert Steinke is assigned to Platte County.

Our District Judges can and do sit in all counties in the Fifth Judicial District as needed, but the listed assignments show where each of them regularly sits.
