Rule 11-8. Courtroom Security
Printer-friendly versionAll defendants in criminal cases shall be searched by the sheriff or sheriff's deputies prior to entering the courtroom. All such searches shall be conducted in private and as unobtrusively as possible. The sheriff or deputies shall be present during all criminal proceedings and at such other times as requested by the court.
Adopted effective November 3, 1995.
