Jim was introduced to Mediation, during his last semester at Creighton Law School & fell in love with the process. Jim is known Regionally for his work in High-Conflict/SADR Mediation in DIPA cases. He is an affiliate The Douglas County 4.3 panel, and Nebraska Justice Center. He?s opened a successful Mediation Center in Papillion, NE where he Mediates with his wife & other SADR/Bilingual Mediators. Besides his Law Degree, Family and SADR Mediation training, he is also trained and has experience in Advanced High-Conflict/SADR Mediation, Financial/Property Mediation, Child Support, Parent Coordination, Family Group Conferences, Juvenile Pre-Hearing Conferences, Business Arbitration, and Elder Mediation. He has focused his Continuing Education on Domestic Intimate Partner Abuse, Parent Coordination, Parent Coaching, High Conflict Co-Parenting, Child Abuse/Neglect, and in The Duluth Model for Batterer?s Intervention. His 16 plus years as a College Professor in the fields of Humanities; Critical Reasoning, Philosophy, World Religion and English, has given him the skills and techniques to be a very effective Mediator and Teacher. Jim also teaches a wide-variety of Parenting Classes for families in Conflict. Presently he is teaching Basic and Advanced Court Ordered Parenting Classes, High Conflict Parenting Classes entitled, ?Cooperative Parenting and Divorce: A Parent Guide to Effective Co-Parenting? and is trained and certified to teach Batterers' Intervention and DIPA Survivor Courses also. Jim?s partnered with Family Connections to offer more services to families, as well as additional classes, such as Anger Management. Jim also provides Supervision/Transition services in conjunction with Family Connections.
