This is an entry-level position. Work involves writing presentence/predisposition reports and/or supervising clients placed on probation, as well as conducting juvenile intake interviews as needed.
Requirements include graduation from college with a bachelor's degree in the social sciences, criminal justice or related fields; ability to write the required reports, case plans, chronological notes; ability to communicate verbally with clients, judges, school personnel, law enforcement, families; ability to read and interpret police reports, mental health evaluations, chemical evaluations; ability to maintain workload of writing reports and supervising clients; appear in court; ability to motivate clients toward self-improvement.
The ability to speak Spanish is desired but not required. The salary range is $2,615.06 to $2,816.14 per month.
