Search Tips

You can use 'and', 'or' and 'not' between your keywords; 'and' applies by default.

The following examples illustrate the kind of expressions that you can use to search the index(es)

  • industry and construction
  • biology and cell or protoplasm
  • renaissance and (dante or cervantes)
  • cheese not (cheddar or swiss)
  • book* (finds book, books, bookstore etc.)

Note The search evaluates an expression from left to right. The expressions in parentheses will be evaluated first. Wildcards (asterisks) can be used only at the end of a single word.
