Chief Probation Officer Linda Buehler

Linda Buehler was appointed Chief Probation Officer in October, 2008 of the newly-created Probation District 12 in Gering that came into existence July 1, 2009. She began her Probation career as a probation officer in Gering in October, 1995.

Buehler has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Chadron State College. Buehler also completed the U.S. Department of Justice National Institute of Corrections Executive Orientation Program at Sam Houston University.

She has served on an ISP sub-committee and currently serves on Probation’s Field Services Committee.
