Approximately two years ago I enrolled into the NCR program at the Werner Institute in Creighton University. During this time I took multiple courses relating to the field of mediation. Furthermore, I obtained my basic mediation certificate via the program. In order to fulfill the course curriculum, I was required to participate in a final practicum project. The entity I chose to complete my project was through Concord Mediation Center. I began interning at the Center on January of 2017 and completed the project on May of 2017. Upon my graduation, I was allowed to stay at Concord Mediation Center to further my mediation experience. During my time at the Center I have facilitated numerous small claims court mediation's and three family mediation sessions.  changed to Andrew Karr is currently the Mediation Program Coordinator at Concord Mediation Center (hereinafter CMC). A proud graduate of Creighton University School of Law with a master’s degree in Negotiations and Conflict Resolution. Andrew was inspired to pursue a career in mediation and conflict resolution while discussing his future with his professor at the Nuremberg Summer Program (N2H). Andrew has been employed with CMC for six years helping low-income individuals resolve conflictual matters. Specializing in high conflict mediations, Andrew uses that experience to identify positions and issues of conflict, assist parties with developing options to remedy said conflict, and draft an agreement holding the parties accountable for maintaining resolution. Andrew also mediates corporate, special education, elder care, child welfare, employment, and community disputes.
