Proceedings below: Appellant was found guilty of two (2) counts of misdemeanor child abuse, and Appellant was sentenced to a total of two (2) years incarceration with credit for 94 days served.  Appellant motioned the trial court seeking a recalculation of credit for time served, which the trial court denied.  On its own motion, the Supreme Court ordered this case to be transferred from the docket of the Court of Appeals to its docket. 

Issues: Appellants makes the following assignment of error on appeal: The District Court abused its discretion in failing to award Appellant 215 days credit for time served as opposed to 94 days.
