Criminal: First-Degree Sexual Assault and Motion to Transfer to Juvenile Court

Proceedings below: After being charged by Information with First-Degree Sexual Assault, Appellant filed a Motion to Transfer his case to the juvenile court, which the trial court denied.  The State of Nebraska filed a Petition to Bypass the Court of Appeals, which the Supreme Court sustained and transferred this matter to its docket. 

Issues: Appellant makes the following assignment of error in this interlocutory appeal:  1) The District Court abused its discretion in denying Alanda’s Motion to Transfer to the Juvenile Court.
