Assignments of Error on Appeal:  The appellant contends that the district court erred in denying his discovery motion requesting the State produce a 2011 email chain between the county attorney and the Omaha Police Department and abused its discretion by denying his motion for a mistrial He also contends that the court imposed an excessive sentence on his conviction for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
